Call for Partnership Proposals 2012/13
Introduction
1. World Alliance for Arts Education (WAAE) is a global arts alliance between international arts education organisations including:
• International Drama/Theatre and Education Association (IDEA)
• International Society for Education through Art (InSEA)
• International Society for Music Education (ISME)
• World Dance Alliance (WDA)
2. WAAE aims to utilize the strength and knowledge within trans-disciplinary, trans-national and trans-cultural arts education associations to the benefit of arts education in the 21st century. WAAE interrogates old and new paradigms of education and advocates for the arts as pedagogical forms and methods.
3. Since WAAE’s inaugural gathering in Portugal, 2006, WAAE has worked in partnership with several international organisations who have hosted the gathering of world leaders in arts education strategic thinking. These global summits included:

8. We seek a host who will assist in funding a gathering of approximately 80 world leaders and strategic thinkers for a 3-day summit in 2012 or 2013.
