International Physical Theatre Lab in RUSSIA

Rostov-on-Don Regional Academic Young People's Theatre

PARTICIPANTS: The program is designed for experienced actors, dancers, choreographers, actors of physical theatre and contemporary circus performers - performing arts practitioners with professional stage experience working in various genres, techniques and styles, interested to find new international network opportunities and collaborators.

PROGRAMME: Intensive practical training guided by the Russian theatre director and teacher Sergei Ostrenko. The programme is focused on Ostrenko's method of actor’s training, which is formed and inspired by the Russian Theatre Tradition. The Lab is a great opportunity to approach a unique methodological and practical material that will enrich your professional skills and will offer you the possibility to share an intense creative experience at a global level.

Moreover, the Lab opens the door towards the new collaboration project in Russia in autumn 2012 - the six-week period of performance creation in a Russian repertory theatre together with Russian actors and performers from different countries!

REGISTRATION: Candidates should send the following documents to physiktheater@gmail.com
Letter of motivation stating their interest in joining the Lab and the prefered Lab dates (Group I or Group II).
Detailed CV describing all specific skills and abilities.
Scanned copy of the passport.
Latest head shot and 2-3 additional photos.
