Over 400 theatre artists, educators and scholars from all over the country have already registered and are planning their trip to Chicago for the theatre and education event of the season: AATE's 2011 National Conference! Lois Lowry, renowned author of The Giver, the Anastasia Series and more, and Eric Coble, AATE 2011 Distinguished Play Award recipient for The Giver, will be joining us for a book/play signing on Friday, July 29, 4:30 - 6:00pm during our Exhibitor Raffle!  In addition to their two featured workshops, Albany Park Theatre Project (APTP) will be performing excerpts at the All-Conference Welcome Event on Wednesday evening, July 27.
